British thrash metal titans Nightlord, established 1989, have just unveiled the cover art to their long-awaited third album entitled, "Reborn in Darkness".

The artwork, brought to life by renowned creative artist Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art (Flotsam and Jetsam, Virus, Herman Frank, Bloodstock Open Air...), features the statues Melancholia and Mania, which represent the personalisation of depression and schizophrenia, as seen in the notorious Victorian mental asylum Bethlem Royal Hospital, known popularly as Bedlam. By some coincidence, "Bedlam" is also the title of the opening track on the album.

"Reborn in Darkness" features the first new tracks since Nightlord's reformation in 2010. It was mixed and mastered by recording legend Chris Tsangarides (Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Bruce Dickinson, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore, Anvil, UFO, Y&T… the list is endless) and features 9 tracks of solid British thrash metal.

"Reborn in Darkness" goes on general release on Monday 28th November.

To accompany the release, Nightlord will be releasing three music videos over the coming weeks, but to get a special early preview of all three videos and some other special content, take a look at their web site, now.

Nightlord just appeared at TITANFEST 2016 in their hometown of London this weekend, alongside such well-known names as Onslaught, Skyclad, Oliver/Dawson Saxon, Hell, Warrior Soul, Anihilated, Beholder and a host of others. TITANFEST, which is hosted by Nightlord themselves, was just named, "The best British indoor metal festival" by While we await news of the next Titanfest, Nightlord's next live appearance will be headlining the opening night of Eradication festival in Cardiff on April 20th.
