Some more bands to suggest:

Blaspheme:
Legends of French heavy metal, they're reunited since last year and they give live shows.

Hürlement:
New killer French band. They just released their first album.Check them out here: http://hurlement.metal.free.fr/

Muro:
Spanish metal legends! I don't know if they are reunited for good but it appears that they will play at this summer's Leyendas Del Rock festival in Spain.
We can try it anyway!

Forsaken:

Epic doom metal band from Malta, with Leo Stivala of Reflection on vocals.Check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/forsakenmalta

Ossian:
Hungarian GODS! It would be a miracle to play live outside Hungary since they play in 2.000-3.000 people there, but we could give it a try.

Riot <<<< Somebody has to do this !
Persian Risk < NWOBHM - with Carl Sentence... Dunno if phil could make it tho.
DEALER ? NWOBHM do they still perform ?
Cloven Hoof - with new record ?
Ostrogoth << YEAH !
WARRIOR - the americans
HITTMAN <<<<<< please !!!
Impelliterri
Stormwitch ... i 'd really like to hear some of those songs live...
SCANNER - they kicked #$# in Salonica with the new Greek guy they got !!!

helstar
virgin steele
savage grace < let's call this S.G, only the guitarist will be there seemingly.
vicious rumors < with the original line up.
Candelmass < Kit 1st album line up ?
Jag panzer - guaranteed to K.A !
Ruthless
Brocas Helm
Q5 < Actually Nightshade doing Q5 songs ....
Solitude Aeturnus
Darkology - an active band with Kelly Sundown Carpenter. Amazing vocalist.

take into account that bands with tuneless vocalists i.e Sacred Steel make me have second thoughts about attending.

My bands list for Up the hammers festival would be Virgin-Steele, Vicious Rumors, Jag Panzer, and White Skull. This will be a great event.
